Renowned global co-working operator, Flexi Group, sought to establish their presence in Melbourne. With a track record of over 40 sites worldwide, the company engaged Tenant CS to assist in finding a suitable 2,000-3,000 sqm space in an inner-city location. A key objective of the brief was to secure a generous upfront incentive that could be put towards building a new and customised fit-out.
Leveraging their strong industry relationships, Tenant CS sourced an exceptional off-market opportunity in a brand new development in Abbotsford.
Though multiple coworking spaces vied for the space, the team presented a compelling proposal to the landlord on behalf of Flexi Group, ultimately securing the premises.
The landlord was willing to invest over $3 million in a state-of-the-art fit-out to be built in collaboration with Flexi Group. On top of this, Tenant CS negotiated five months early access and the removal of any make-good obligations.
Tenant CS also played a crucial role in facilitating the fit-out process, liaising closely with the tenant, landlord, and design specialists to finalise floor plan design and specs.
